Filamentous Li-S electrodes for flexible energy storage (FiberBat)

For the next generation of flexible electronics such as rollable screens, body-worn smart devices or smart textiles, there is a growing interest in flexible, safe, thin and lightweight energy storage devices. For flexible batteries, all components, from the functional cell components such as anode, cathode, electrolyte, separator and current collector to the enclosure of these components, must be flexible enough to withstand mechanical deformation in use.
