Accreditation

Fast, precise and 100% reliable.

Around 200 test and inspection procedures are accredited at the fem in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. In addition, the fem is an approved testing laboratory for Mercedes-Benz standards (MBN) and Daimler-Benz delivery specifications (DBL), a testing institute of the Gütegemeinschaft Schwerer Korrosionsschutz (GSK), the Qualitätsgemeinschaft GSB and the Verband für die Oberflächenveredelung von Aluminium e.V. (VOA) for the QUALICOAT, QUALIDECO, QUALANOD and QUALSTRIP quality marks.

At fem, 200 test methods are flexibly accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018

We are an accredited testing laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 for approx. 200 test and inspection procedures from all departments of the institute. The confirmation of competence was carried out by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS-D-PL-14368-01-00) and has already existed since 1996. We are flexibly accredited according to category III and have the competence to use standardised test methods or test methods equivalent to them with different output statuses.

DAIMLER TEST LABORATORY

Initial sampling from a single source: Daimler delivery specifications (DBL) and standards (MBN)

The fem is authorised to carry out numerous quality tests as well as the initial sampling of components in accordance with the Daimler-Benz Delivery Specifications (DBL) and Mercedes-Benz Standards (MBN). The test results determined at the fem are recognised by Daimler, no further qualifications are required.
