Visit by the Turkish DEEP project on circular economy and recycling at fem

As part of their five-day study visit to Germany, the delegation of the DEEP project from Turkey also paid a visit to the fem Forschungsinstitut in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Dr. Şeniz Sörgel, Dr. Birger Freisinger and Florian Bulling had the pleasure of introducing the research institute and its latest technological achievements in the field of circular economy and recycling to the guests, representatives of the relevant Turkish state institutions, including the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and members of the project team.

The aim of this visit was to gain a comprehensive understanding of recycling technologies in the areas of waste batteries, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and end-of-life vehicles (ELV). The project is implemented by a consortium led by DAI and the study visit is supported by the European Union.

We would like to thank our guests for their visit and wish the project every success!
