Natrium-Ionen-Batterien auf Basis von recyceltem NaFePO₄ aus verbrauchten Li-Ionen-Zellen

Das Forschungsvorhaben bringt das Fachwissen internationaler Partner zusammen, um die Machbarkeit einer Natrium-Ionen-Batterietechnologie mit Natriummetallanoden und Kathodenmaterials aus recyceltem LFP-Kathodenmaterial zu demonstrieren. Damit wird ein neuer Weg zu einer nachhaltigen Kreislaufwirtschaft im Bereich der Batterietechnologien eingeschlagen,  auf dem die Materialabhängigkeit Deutschlands reduziert und politische, ökologische und wirtschaftliche Risiken minimiert werden.

Safety and operating strategies Lithium-based batteries: Dendrites and SEI growth

The often strongly changing operating conditions have a great influence on the battery condition and service life. The task of battery management systems is to monitor and control complex battery packs. In this way, safety problems are to be prevented and the battery condition maintained for as long as possible. Information about the battery condition makes it possible to identify faulty battery cells.
