Das Forschungsvorhaben bringt das Fachwissen internationaler Partner zusammen, um die Machbarkeit einer Natrium-Ionen-Batterietechnologie mit Natriummetallanoden und Kathodenmaterials aus recyceltem LFP-Kathodenmaterial zu demonstrieren. Damit wird ein neuer Weg zu einer nachhaltigen Kreislaufwirtschaft im Bereich der Batterietechnologien eingeschlagen, auf dem die Materialabhängigkeit Deutschlands reduziert und politische, ökologische und wirtschaftliche Risiken minimiert werden.
